Our Story - "Honey, where's the phone bill?"
The birth of EZ Pocket (R) -the handy hanging file!
The original EZ POCKET was created out of a personal need, in that I could not keep track of all the bills and notices that I received every day. The Visa bill is due on the 25th, the cable bill is due on the 7th, I have doctor's appointment on the 15th, and I need to call Mastercard on the 11th of next month to see if I had been issued the credit on my credit card for returned merchandise. Where do I put all the paper reminders to keep track of all that?
What I needed was a simple "tool" that would hold the bills in view, in due date order, and out of the way and off of the counter, and the coffee table, dining room table, and the car seat, I think you get the idea. So, I sketched out my idea. My mom sewed up my new idea, putting the numbers on with a magic marker. From that day on we knew where to put the important papers we needed to keep track of until a certain date.
From that day on EZ POCKET-the handy hanging file - was born. Friends came by and liked our system-"I want one" they'd say, and "that's a good idea" they'd add. We were living in a small mountain town and working to pay the bills of course, so nothing happened for a while. One day, again, things changed, our jobs changed. We took a leap into the great abyss of going into business for ourselves. So here we are in Denver today, helping others help themselves create peace and harmony in their homes and offices by being just a little bit more organized.
The National Association of Professional Organizers did a study and determined that the average person spends 80 hours per year searching for papers they need but cannot find when they need them. EZ POCKET lets you quickly and easily organize all those household paper items that need action on a certain date. EZ POCKET keeps papers in view, and sorted, while waiting for the "to-do" date to roll around. EZ POCKET is so easy to use! Great for busy people of all ages--families, seniors, students and anyone keeping track of everyday reminders and important dates.
